The first digital voice mail system was patented
On the 1st February, 1983, Gordon H. Matthews, Thomas B. Tansil and Michael L. Fannin received a patent for their “electronic telecommunication system” – the beginnings of digital voice mail.
Nolan Bushnell, the founder of Atari and the man who brought us Pong, also founded the Chuck E. Cheese pizza chain.
