The steamer SS City of Rio de Janeiro sank
On the 22nd February, 1901, the steam powered ship, SS City of Rio de Janeiro, hit unseen rocks and sank in San Francisco Bay.
Bourbon was created by a clergyman. Rev. Elijah Craig distilled whisky from maize, and named it after his home in Bourbon County, Kentucky.
