The American Express Company was founded
On the 18th March, 1850, Henry Wells, William Fargo and John Butterfield formed the American Express Company, which began as an express mail service.
In the 1600s, English wives banded together to try to prohibit coffee, because their husbands were spending too much time in coffee houses!
