On the 19th March, 1875, a letter was published in The Field, where Neville Chamberlain claimed to have invented the game of snooker.
When Edward Berner could not serve his customer flavoured soda water on the Sabbath, he served him up a bowl of ice-cream topped with chocolate ice-cream soda flavouring - the first ice-cream sundae!
