The second asteroid to be discovered, 2 Pallas, was first observed
On the 28th March, 1802, Heinrich Wilhelm Matthaus Olbers discovered asteroid 2 Pallas, (the second asteroid to be discovered), which was at first thought to be a planet.
The first sunglasses were worn by Chinese judges in the form of smoke coloured quartz lenses, used to hide their eye expressions in court.
