On the 3rd April, 1973, Martin Cooper made the very first mobile (cellular) phone call, to his rival at Bell Laboratories.
Cats Eyes (reflective road markings) were invented by Percy Shaw after the eyes of a real cat saved him from driving over a cliff through a fog.
