On the 14th April, 1914, Stacy G. Carkhuff received a patent for a Vehicle Tire, which had a special tread on the outside to prevent skidding.
Bourbon was created by a clergyman. Rev. Elijah Craig distilled whisky from maize, and named it after his home in Bourbon County, Kentucky.
