On the 19th April, 1965, the WINS-AM radio station in New York City became one of the first stations in the U.S. to change to a round the clock news format.
The first donut cutter was patented by Capt. John Blondell, apparently so that he could put the donut over a handle of the wheel while navigating his ship.
