The first electric organ was patented by L. Hammond
On the 24th April, 1935, Laurens Hammond received a patent for his Electrical Musical Instrument, an electric organ that was able to produce a pipe organ sound.
When Edward Berner could not serve his customer flavoured soda water on the Sabbath, he served him up a bowl of ice-cream topped with chocolate ice-cream soda flavouring - the first ice-cream sundae!
