Torricelli first described his innovative work with barometers
On the 11th June, 1644, Evangelista Torricelli first described his invention of the “Torricellian tube”, which we now know as the barometer.
The first donut cutter was patented by Capt. John Blondell, apparently so that he could put the donut over a handle of the wheel while navigating his ship.
