Discovery that tuberculosis is caused by bacteria, instead of an hereditary condition
On the 24th October, 1882, Dr. Robert Koch proved that the disease, tuberculosis, is caused by a type of bacteria; rather than being a hereditary condition.
Albert Einstein was one of the scientists involved with the creation of the atomic bomb, invented under the code name “Manhattan Project”, which devastated the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
